Outherwordly seems too weak of a word to describe this. Great photo!
If I were asked to nit pick I would suggest cropping the left side just before the trees start. I find this really balances the image and brings a little more focus to the trees and balances nicely with the dark patch in the bottom right.
I appreciate your time in looking and your nice comments. I'm glad you like it.
Scott,
I was going for the more expansive look for this one, I guess.
I took your advice and cropped and I thinks this works well, too. Thanks for the idea.
Thanks for posting a cropped version. I like it too but now sitting back and comparing the 2 for a while I think less of a crop. I think, for me, the issue is the "hole" in the clouds in the upper left. The cloud line from center is a nice curve then drops right the hole. I think a crop just enough eliminate that hole is what works best in my mind. Which is about half way from the edge to the start of the trees. My first view I was spanning left and right cause I couldn't see it all at once. This is where the crop idea started in my head. All options will work but for me, my new crop suggestion has a great balance. Everyone will have a different preference or emotional connection on all 3 crop options. Sometimes you just have to experiment with a crop, sit back and look! And see what it does for you.
