I love the composition. You had clouds! Right now when I am about to go out to take shots there is no clouds here..

I guess I had forgotten all about this and therefore failed to reply. My apologies.
I don't know how to add "warmth," but even if I did, the stark white of some of the tufa really IS bright.
Clouds at Mono are usually a matter of serendipity. So go there multiple times

Looks like Kodachrome Blue to me Charlie

Wonderful depth perception from your comp, I like the boldness and hardness of this shot and the very deep polarized blue

Nice retention on the light rock formations too, sweeeeeet!

Yep, Kodachrome loves rich colors. The deep blue is not, however, from a polarizer- I almost never use one because with wide angle lenses they go light/dark and back to light as you look from one side to the other of the resultant pics. I DO, though, underexpose my chromes about 20% (typical slide shooters' fear of overexposure- which kills the image for projection). Plus the clear high desert air gives intense blue skies.
Ray- the variety of exquisite natural features in western Canada and western US provides a lifetime of marvelous explorations. I've lived here all my life, and traveled the land extensively by car- and continually find new and wonderful places.
