hi guys,
if you are interested in shooting portraits with the X-E1, I just posted a short field report with lots of pictures from my first session with the X-E1 here http://www.mikekobal.com/blog/?p=5951
hope some of you will find it useful
cheers,

Nice write-up - I enjoyed it, thanks for posting. Wonderful images.
Right now I'm using an OM-D for my "small" kit and I personally love the IBIS for MF. I had a NEX 5N previously and although I loved the focus peaking the file colors never seemed right me. Now, if Fuji would just add focus peaking I might just consider trying an X-E1.

thanks much, michael! I hear you and honestly have to say focus peaking isn't a big short coming when using high speed normal and tele lenses with the xe1, the hires evf in combination with the 3xloup and sharpened preview is almost as good as a white outline in fp. it would come in real handy using wide angle lenses for sure
