My league my son plays for (intermural, not travel) had a really messed up season this fall with all the weather releated issues. Well, when it came time to play the last game of the season, they had a total of 8 players between the two teams, so what did they do? Move the goals in, and play a semi-pickup game - 4 on a side. Hey, the kids had fun. In addition, there were some U6s playing on the next field over. It was a COLD day, hence the sweatshirts/pants on a lot of the kids
Thanks for that tip - I was actually just walking to my son's game, and they were a couple of grabs, and I got a nasty look from the parents, The coaches and the league know who I am, but it was some parents I had not seen

Trying to overcome the paranoia of some parents is one of our biggest goals!
