p.1 #1 · What body to go with my Canon 70-200 F/2.8 L USM II 7D or 5DMKII
I am using it mainly to shoot Nature/Birds and Sports Photography, but I was thinking about starting Portraits on a amateur level, you know sell to friends and family.
I heard 7D is the way to go with action shots, but will that screw up my hopes or portraits?
my current setup is
Canon Rebel XS
EF-70-200 F/2.8 IS II USM
EFS 55-250mm Telelens
EFS 18-55mm lens
Any suggestions or should I wait for the 6D? and when is the 6D out

A full frame camera like the 6D is without any doubt a great camera for portraiture. But from the lenses you own the 70-200/2.8L IS II is the only lens that would mount. The others are EF-S mount and do just fit crop cameras. The 7D would definitely fit better to your current lens set. It's not bad for portraiture It's just that the 6D will be the better. If you think full frame as a next step you'll have to include a reconsideration of your lens setup.

Thanks for the feedback on the 7d, would th 5d mkii be worth the extra money and would iI loose iq in the sports and nature shots
You definitely won't loose IQ but you'll loose the benefit of the extra reach of the crop sensor for your nature shots. From my experience with my 7D I have found that its really suseptable to user error in regards to if your gonna nail the focus or not but with proper technique you will get amazing results out of that body. I recently picked up a 5DIII and makes me feel like I can't miss focus unless I try in comparison to my 7D . The 7D has treated me well for portraiture too though but it has been relegated to nature/wildlife/sports shooting when I am focal length limited.
