Hi,
I am starting this topic in the spirit of good fellowship, sharing and for fun....because....
In the USA tomorrow is "Turkey Day" or Thanksgiving.
If you are in the USA then, it is hard to avoid turkey. It is one of the most commonly celebrated feasts and family gatherings in the country.
So, that means LOTS of potential for "A Day in The Life of Turkey Day" type photos.
So, I encourage you all to post a photo (in this thread/topic) of how YOU see turkey (or thanksgiving). Make it fun or serious photo, as this thread/topic is ALL about fun.
Some Simple Suggestions:
Make a photo of a delicious looking turkey (cookbook style or Norman Rockwell Style).
Show people ENJOYING the turkey.
Show family and friends together sharing a turkey.
Show how KIDS like turkey.
Show people cooking the turkey.
Show the aftermath (zz)
Show some of the special "family recipe" dishes (grandma's special gravy in a crazy looking gravy boat).

Chiefdog...I enjoyed seeing the wild turkeys.
The male is impressive...look at that beard and beautiful plumage. ....oops...reminds me of a line in a Monty Python skit.
Thanks for participating/sharing.

I smoked a turkey that I had brined overnight, thought about taking a picture as it turned out nicely, but decided not to. Now I wish I had!
I can imagine a shot of the bird emerging from the smoke.
