Very handsome and he is growing up so fast. I don't feel the image needs much pp'ing other than sharpening of the eyes and reducing slightly the highlights on his face. I might darken the left upper side a little more.
I'm curious why you went with the desaturated color, although I suspect it's because you wanted an older impression. Otherwise, I'd suggest more vibrance and sat and perhaps some vignette. (Although I see a lot of close cropped head shots, I find them something of a fad and suspect including more chest in them may look less dated in the future.)
I find the print on the shirt distracting - particularly in the color shot as the red jumps out a little too much for me. My suggestion would be to darken the lettering. Other than that, excellent!
