Many of our pictures are spread across the center, and although you CAN see that there is a line, the book really does lay flat so your view of the picture isn't affected. The book has been very well-thumbed by visiting children and grandchildren etc, and there is no evidence of cracking. All that being said, this was very much an informal family album. If I had been using it for, say, a wedding album, I think I'd avoid laying a photograph right across the center. Nov 19, 2012 at 11:08 AM
