Feedback: Feedback here on FM, Quite a bit on dozens of other sites. I've sold nearly a thousand things online and had perfect feedback.
Other: This lens is a barley used like new in box copy that was not used professionally. I am a hobbyist. It has never seen rain, dust, or any inclement weather, always handled with care.
This is also a tack sharp copy. I got a second copy of this lens in a trade a few months ago and this is the sharper of the two determined after extensive back to back testing. There is some variation between copies.
I got this lens based on the theory that 35mm 1.4 was the widest lens you could use and still see vividly noticeable background blur at screen resolution when taking photos of adults, the 24mm 1.4 L I had did not deliver enough blur because as you get wider you need faster lenses to maintain apparent background blur, so you'd need a 24mm f/1.0 lens. My theory turned out to be right and this lens has become my favorite lens hands down both for it's magical smooth quality and it's combination of aperture and focal length. It is amazing for taking photos of kids, and most of my favorite photos come from it.
Unfortunately I'm updating some of my other gear and that's the priority so this has to go. Rest assured though that as soon as I can I'll have purchased another 35mm.
