Just got back from a work trip to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

At the weekend I managed to get out into the countryside a bit and towards the end of the day just as the sun was going down I came across these Red Kites.

Not sure what they were feeding on - it looked like someone had dumped something in the field, but they were intent on their feeding and ignored me so I managed to get in close with the 70-200 to get these shots.

WOW !!! 70-200 non captive raptor shooting. Hoo Hoo Gotta love it. I love the colors on them.

It was indeed Chris.
I think they may be more tolerant or perhaps more aggressive than the Black Kites we see over here.
