I really like this.
For whatever the reasons, you get so many wonderful expressions in these portraits that it is really impressive.
That these are just regular people that you happen to "run into" makes it even better. Getting such expressions from a model would be almost impossible, I suspect.
Of this and the others of yours I've seen recently, I can't help but think it would be nice to know this person. To me, that speaks a lot about your skills.

Charlie, I consider this "high praise", and am humbled. Alfred Eisenstadt said that it's more important to click with people that to click the shutter, and I take that seriously. Getting an authentic look is my goal (often unobtained) and I constantly think of Carl Sandberg's words, "Often the faces speak what words can never say".
