Here are the last few shots from this recent Yosemite trip.
Being there for the 1st snows of the season is a magical experience.
This first one was basically the first shot taken.
We had got to the park at just before 5am having left San Jose about 1
Entering the park, we were driving in white out conditions, seeing maybe 50ft in front of the car
We parked at Valley View, set our iPhones to wake us before sunrise and took a short nap
This is what we got to wake up to. Both taken with the 24-105
Hi, Dan. More lovely stuff. I really like the composition on #3. Just a few suggestions that I think would make it even better.
I would like to see more exposure in the lower half of the shot. This would be an easy fix in Camera Raw. Simply use the gradient tool, bump up the exposure to your taste, and drag from the bottom up to feather it in. Also, might want to get rid of that excess foliage in the upper right side.
