The filter is one of a pair we bought to use with Canon binoculars to view sun spots.

Actually there were plenty of clouds racing by. Had to shoot between 'em.

I used clouds for the one we had last summer. I only had a ND filter and a polarizer but with the clouds it helped.

People were taking pictures of my LCD with their cell phones because they could not view it directly.
