Yesterday and today were great days at the Lakes. The White Pelicans have migrated here and are enjoying the stocked lake. The fishermen aren't too happy, but the photographers are

This Osprey sat there and sat there on the top of this tree. After waiting and waiting I turned to move closer to the lake and he took off. I think he knew I was waiting for him. I didn't do much processing, so these may be a bit noisy. CC always welcome. Thanks for looking.

You might want to straighten the horizon in the last one or the Pelicans might fall out of the picture

the water in the wood duck shot really makes that an outstanding image. pelican rumps are fun too......

Thanks Tim. I forgot to straighten that shot before I posted it. They were so hungry, they'd just paddle harder to stay in line to fish.

Thanks for your kind words. After looking at that first one more, I wonder if it is too much contrast?
I was trying to tone down the bright whites.
