yes, that is correct! one of these was found by another birder yesterday in gloucester mass. quite an amazing find for this far east. i had a few free hours between experiments so i broke out of my lab for a bit this afternoon to chase this guy down. i found him without too much trouble and he was relatively obliging when it came to being photographed.

the light just kept getting better and better. you'll see as you progress through the shots which are presented in the order in which they were taken (and as the sun set!)
