p.1 #1 · Cactus focus stacking

Just picked up a Tokina 100 macro from the B&S board. Weather hasn't been ideal, windy, but played with it a little bit this morning. Busy background so I shot the sequences at f5.6 and used zerene stacker to merge and blend the images.

From the little bit I have used it, I'm already liking this lens.

D7000 w/ Tokina 100 macro. 8 image stack.

And this is from my $200 Oly xz-1 that I recently picked up. Great P&S.

Lovely shots of cacti.

I recommed a pair of fine tweezers or forceps for removing those last bits of debris/dead flowers from between spines.
