Had just got my new 24-70 2.8 II and luck had it that I had to go over near Portland OR for business

So I took off for the Historic Hwy east of there for getting the last glimpse of fall color

Spent time with a super great buddy of mine..he showed me the hot spots...and I'm in love
with the new lens

The day was over cast with a light drizzle going on

Hope you enjoy the view

I was not even gonna think about the 24-70 II, but these captures are making me go...hmmm...maybe I should re-think this!

Thanks all for the comments...

broncoholic.....had the version I....and so far its been worth the difference in $$

I'm on the weird side....I'd rather have the large hood of the first version versus the small one
now on current one....I feel that it offered better protection
