Some focus stacked shots of Romanesco broccoli - a wonderful natural example of fractal geometry. Hopefully it will taste as good as it looks in a pasta dish tonight.

Definitely a fractal pattern, as discussed by Mandelbrot and others!

Also a beautifully illuminated and most enjoyable photograph.

Thanks for the comments everybody.
The brocolli was used in a cheesy pasta dish where we would normally use cauliflower. The verdict was the Romanesco was nicer- a bit tastier and slightly harder texture.
