I'm also waiting for GGS to come out with one for the D600. I'm hoping when they do its the clip on style vs the stick on version. Yes the D600 comes with the standard Nikon protector but if you've ever used three GGS style compared to three Nikon they are like night and day difference.

I'm curious.. what IS the difference? Aren't they just see-through covers? I'm just not aware. thanks

Nikon ones are easy to scratch on the exterior, and allow dust to accumulate underneath the protector which may lead to blemishes on the actual display. The stick on GGS's look seamless, and the clip-ons are black to match the body better.
I wonder if the one for the D800 would fit the D600?
NO. I got the D800 one only because I am having a trip and want some protection for the screen. The small LCD cover does not fit at all and the big one doesn't fit very well too (can't see the entire screen after installed)

That's why I don't use the cover that comes with the camera. I go nude.
No scratches on the screen, the rest of my camera has seen better days. The screens are pretty tough. If I do ever scratch it, well, c'est la vie.
Plus the Nikon one has this pixelated and almost frosted in a way look to them, the GGS is like looking at the regular screen and the resolution looks great through them .
i removed the plastic covers on both my D700 and D3s and replaced them with the Zagg invisible shield. Purchased the IPAD version from Best Buy. Measured the LCD's cut and applied with NO solution. Initially, there were a couple small bubbles, but they have since disappeared. It wasn't the easiest film to apply, but well worth it.
D800 GGS screen works fine for D600. I am using it while waiting for the D600 version, which may be identical anyway. I would have preferred it to be a milliimeter both wider and higher. If you attach it with care, it does not cut anything out but you need to watch the display directly from behind or it will block the outermost tenths of a mllimeter.
It cost a few dollars including postage. When the D600 version appears, I will order that instead.
The top display protection doesn't fit though. But I never felt a need for that one.
They don't have a D600 protector listed yet but I've used bestskinsever.com for the last few years on all of my Macbooks as well as cellphones. Great prices and I much prefer there quality and durability to Zagg and some of the other overpriced options.
