D200 + 80-400 VR @ 400mm, ISO 400, 1/640, f8, fill flash (SB910 + Better Beamer)
These were taken on the morning of October 24 at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge hear in New York City. The first image was at 6:49am just after sunrise and there in the shade and the last at 8:31am and was also in the shade. Images 2, 3, and 4 were in the sun.

Nice set Morris. # 5 is tops for me but I like the ambiance in # 1.
On occasions where there were two birds in the frame as in # 1, and if they had not moved too much then I refocused on the second bird and took a second pic and then cloned the in-focus bird into the first one. Just a thought.
