Wanted to share a couple of my recent weddings that I was pretty happy with
Wedding 1: C+R in Maryland
The bride was a friend of mine from high school so it was really fun to hang out and shoot this. Although a little bit bittersweet too bc I wanted to party with my friends. The fall foliage was awesome. I am jealous of those who get to be around the changing leaves every year, but not jealous of the winter that comes after it. I should note that most of the details shown were shot by my 2nd who was terrific. She also covered the guys getting ready.
Wedding 2: D+T in Santa Rosa, CA
This was a short one--7 hours of coverage. So the schedule was super compressed--especially with a race to finishing up dinner and toasts before the sun set (a race that the caterers lost). So toasts were made in pretty much pitch darkness with only the table lights. My 2nd shot with available light while I used a couple of OCFs on either side of the head table--but I ended up liking his more for the atmosphere. My 2nd also covered much of the details for this as I was working on portraits. As well as the guys getting ready.
@derbarrett -- nothing special about the perspectives of these two. 1-19 I shot with a 35 and shot upward to get the structure. 2-27 I just framed at their midlevel, shot long with the tall grass behind them.
The composition of this set seems to be the most "basic" of any of your sets.... and I really like what you have come up with as an end result. Nice work.
