From the other morning in the Berkeley hills. Pretty intense contrast but subjectively that's how I remember it. Does it work? C&C welcome.

I'd like it more if there was a bit more room in the upper left and a bit less darkness in the lower left.

It works for me, Phil.
You might consider cloning out all the tiny bright spots. They look like lights, but they illuminate nothing. By removing them, the whole image is about nature.

I do have a version with a bit more room on top. Can't do much about the bottom left though...
I'll definitely get rid of those bright spots Charlie.
