I have six of these. They're all Seagate refurbs that came back as a replacement for the failed ones in a bad lot I bought for my storage server. They've never been used (since refurbishment).
I've upgraded the storage density on the server and don't have a need for 1TB drives anymore. They are still covered under the remainder of the factory warranties for the original drives (which ranged from March to December of 2013 for expiration).
