Before the mountain blew its cork- Spirit Lake was a wonderful place to visit, picnic, and just loll about (the current equivalent phrase is "hang out" ).
Interesting. I don't really like that the lake seems to be so dominant in the composition, but it doesn't go anywhere. I'd like to see the shore on the opposite side or the horizon.
Charlie, I always like your stuff from different lands, eras, etc. And this one is fascinating considering the changes since this was taken. 1 is my favorite of this series.
