DPP v3.12.41 works correctly now with OSX 10.8.x
-- the stamp tool is fast
the previous DPP v3.11.31 would be extremely slow with the stamp tool (unusable even)
One remaining issue with OSX 10.7 & 10.8 I see ...
The Photostitch v3.2.6 release does not work with OSX 10.7 or 10.8. You can import the images, stitch them together, but the output file is always corrupt (TIF, JPG, etc)
Yes! The 40mm now has corrections in DPP, including a DLO module.
I have been shooting events with it on a full-frame DSLR and in the right circumstances I've been as happy with that little chunk of plastic and bits o' glass, as any I've ever used.
I wonder when Canon will restore the ability to sync your cameras with eos utility in windows 8? The camera is read and mounted by Windows 8, but so far EOS Utility, and the old astrojargon app have lost the ability to sync the pc clock with the camera clock, including the latest version of EOS Utility.
I forget having MSDN access in August is not Oct.22 Been running Windows 8 RTM since August, and living with unsynced cameras since I don't want to go back and reinstall Win 7 for that just yet
