Looks like a wonderful day at the wetlands to me Kirk!

1 Love the detail in the fluffy feathers and a spot on exposure.
2 Heck he is as big as the Osprey

Wow you must have right next to him, spot on techs
3 you got a nice tilt of the head on this one, adding some nice character
4 super duper shot, the soft light, the angle, a poor little fishy, love the shot
5 I don't think I have ever shot one of these in the wild, we just don't have many of them. A fine shot it is, beautiful comp!

More of you wonderful stuff Kruk. I wonder if you ever have a bad day photographing

Takes me back... My father and I were regulars at Bolsa. Been a number of years... he is in the U.K. and I'm now in North Alabama. Thanks for the great captures and the reminder of that great place.

#1 impressive exposure and outstanding pose
#2 That is for sure a great Finch shot buddy!
#3 Love the presentation here, got a great feel to it, nice looking water, nice light, cool image a bit artsy

#4 Got me good here, excellent portrait of a fisherman bathed in warm light

#5 Can't go wrong with these colors and a dash of 'florality'

Just wish could pull a little more detail out of the eye??

Super set from you 'other' favorite spot!

Beautiful work on all those, it does bring back fond memories of Bolsa as my son said. Looking forward to getting out there in November when we return for a holiday.

Great set, Kirk. My favorites are #1 & 3.
It's always very inspirational to see what you can do with 420mm.
Reminds me that I don't need longer glass - just better skills to get closer.
