Lovely shot Koen. I don't think I've seen one posted here before and your picture sparked some fond memories of hunting lapwing eggs in farm fields with my uncle when I was a small boy.

Thanks Ron, I love their colors too. In Holland it is (or used to be) a common bird. But in the right light one can see they have lovely colors.
