p.1 #1 · Avocado Stack - reworked

As I learn new ways to use Photoshop, or more accurately, the right way to use Photoshop, I like to apply what I learn right away to see how it changes what I've done in the past. So, even though this is a slightly different angle than the last similar shot, I used a different technique and I'm wondering how it looks to others....

Any feedback is much appreciated!

Much better, but I'd still like to see some back light to bring sheen and "glisten" to the sauce and chicken.

In your styling, watch out for things like the sauce separating along the left side. Remember that often the food being photographed isn't edible because of additives, thickeners, and the like.
