This was taken two weeks ago. We decided to dedicate one morning to find a good sunrise spot along the yellowstone lake. BruceG ( another FMer) and I decided on this spot. Sunrise never materialized. This was taken about 35 minutes before the sunrise.
I like the colors and the muted reflections resulting from the exposure time. The curve of the shoreline draws my eye to the peninsula of trees reaching out into the lake. It might be nice to have a little more of the shoreline included at the left edge of the photo. Just a suggestion.
A spectacular pre-dawn scene.
And a spectacular image of it, Harsha.
I've never gotten anything worthwhile at the lake- never!
But then, I don't like to get up in the middle of the night, either .

Thanks for your input. My friend was setup to the left of me so I couldn't move any further to the left without recomposing.
