Glass is clean and clear, blades look great. Little dust inside. Mechanically excellent. Ships with non-OEM caps and hood (front is Tamron, rear is Sigma, hood is some other third party). AF is snappy on the a900 for a screw driven lens (going from MFD to infinity is slow). Low contrast but very sharp. Nice tele-zoom for the money. Will not AF on the NEX without LAEA-2

Front element is clean and clear, blades look great. There’s a blemish on the rear element near the rim that doesn’t affect IQ. Little dust inside. Mechanically excellent. Ships with caps and a bargain-level 72mm Kenko UV-filter. Great strong contrast/strong color lens.

Glass is clean and clear, blades look great. Mechanically excellent. Ships with OEM caps and bargain-level OEM hood (whole, mounts perfectly, felt inside has seen better days, many scratches on the outside). Great 25ish on the APS-C mirrorless cameras, kind of a slow 35 on M4:3s. This is a great lenticular design- no distortion to correct for except perspective. So-so colors but excels at B&W.
