The Norge Ski Club in Fox River Grove, IL. is the oldest continually operating ski club in the U.S.. They held their summer of 2012 competition Sat and Sun, Sept 29 and 30. The longest jump on the 70 meter hill was 75 meters in a free style jump.

Photo nmbr two ... The temperature was about 68 degrees and though suits are hot at that temp.

Photo nmbr three ... What every dedicated jumper should have I suppose.

Great features. What a unique sport to shoot, especially when there isn't any snow.

#1's nice, especailly with the fall color. Suggest straightening the horizon with the crop. Would like the action on the skier to be a little sharper, too.

Personally, I'd like to see more action and faces.

Great colours in the first shot - glad to see someone else shooting SJ!

I'm heading to the jumps in Calgary in 2 weeks to shoot a competition there. I'll post a few pics afterwards
