Got tired of going over to my nephew's and seeing them lying around doing nothing. So I grabbed all 4 of them and went fishing... Got dark so when we started marching through the forest I seen the suns last attempt at keeping darkness at bay... {where's my scotch} A bit of a sunray falling apon the bark of a beautiful tree! Got in my back pack: Canon 5D MK III and my trusty 24-105 (even with IS it is just a little dark) but it's going to need help with the low ligh as I don't want any noise. Although I'm finding out that this gem of a camera shoots nicely in low light at higher ISO.. So in my back pack: Canon W/lens, a bunch of other shit, my Colt Commander .45 acp (for protection against SASQUATCH) and my tactical Surefire flashlight that is a hell of a lot brighter than my flash. Couple hundred lumens.. Too bright.. So I stuck the back cover of my waterproof notebook over the flashlight lens (the cover happens to be kinda white and almost translucent).. The light on the tree she is leaning on and the trees in the background are mostely lit by those last few sunrays. My nephew held the light and I got a nice reasonable ISO (800 I think).. Was shot in manual but don't recall the data.. How do I save that info with my images? Man this digital stuff is tripping me out.. .. {where's my Livet?}
Screw it.. Was it worth my time? .. "slurp" I did cheat a little.. I used the gradiant thingy tool to bring up the exposure in the background.. Boy I need a lot of work in the area of editing images. <scouts out>
.............. sipping scotch...... wondering how long it's taken some of you guy's and gals to get as good as you are.. There are some beautiful examples of some very fine photographers here on this forum. Not posting anymore images. For awhile anyway..
hey now! dont stop posting. just keep bumping the thread till someone gives you some constructive feedback. unfortunately i cant do that as i am still learning and have only shot stuff with natural light. also i may have had some scotch as well.
