p.1 #1 · How to keep my laptop running?

I have my laptop to do a slideshow, hooked on the TV. It works fine except the laptop would stop, blacks out after 15 minutes if I don't do any thing. I bet it presumes I am not there.
Now I would like to know how to disable this automantic energy saving feature.

Well you didn�t say which OS you were running? It�s in the power settings for a Microsoft OS. If it�s windows 7 here�s some info http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/9090/learning-windows-7-manage-power-settings/

If it�s XP just google windows XP power settings.

If it�s a mac, you�re on your own.

On the Mac, go into System Preferences -> Energy and there you'll find the setting.
