p.1 #1 · Nikkor AF-I 300/2.8 owners - need help with hood
Hi all,
I am a privileged owner of a beautiful Nikkor AF-I 300/2.8 lens. I bought it without a lens hood, and now am trying to make a hood similar to an original out of available materials. I'd highly appreciate if anyone could please make a photograph of an original hood from the end that connects to the lens and make a more or less proper measurements (preferably in metric).

mpwolfson, it does look nice, thanks for advice. A bit expensive though.
I've already found a piece of a nice tube of a proper size (looks like PVC, but may as well be fiberglass or something like that). The idea is to make a metal fitting equal to the original.
