Have there been proper tests done yet to compare these three cameras purely for use as a low light, concert photography camera?

I know that ISO is rated slightly higher on the D700 than on the D7000. How does the D600 compare?

D600 hasn't shipped yet. No one has it. No real hand-on experience to answer this imo

Nevermind anyway, I just read it has no AF-ON button. That's a deal breaker for me. :/

well, you can tell the AE/AF lock button to be whatever you want it to be, including AF-ON.....sooooo, where's the problem?? :-)

1. that will depend on the placement. I have small hands. 2. I like to use the AE/AF lock button to lock exposure when recomposing.

Wish it were that simple.
Specially if you use left eye to look through viewfinder.
The AF/AE-L button on the D7k was extremely uncomfortable to use for me.
This is a deal breaker for me as well.

On the D7000 you have the fn, ae-l, and preview buttons. Any of them can be assigned to do af on or ae lock.
