Usually these birds are beautiful...but I caught an ugly one today. Might just be getting a bit long in the tooth...but he (I think of it as a he) was a bit worse for wear. He's missing a talon and had large bare patches of missing feathers...but he was still quick enough to get the job done! All photos taken with a 400mm 5.6 lens and a Canon 1dIII
