p.1 #1 · Canon 5D III high ISO noise

Hello.

I've noticed a trend that when I edit low-light (25k ISO) .CR2 files in Photoshop Camera RAW they pick up a ton of chroma noise. Strangely this doesn't appear on the in-camera .JPG output (I shoot RAW+L).

I thought it might be from using Shadows/Highlights or Exposure, but it happens even with those unchanged. Any other ideas?

In camera jpgs usually have a load of noise reduction applied automatically by the camera.
