Yup maybe a little hot. Brilliant mid-day sun did not help me either.
Gives me a much greater appreciation for those of you who do birds in the wild!
Interesting sort of facial composition! As I recall, their plumage color depends upon the level of carotenoids in their diet from algae and crustaceans or in special flamingo food. Without the proper carotenoids their feathers are very pale.
