On the way to our local park I saw the clouds part and the full moon pop out... Can you help me improve on this... Note:: I was out for wildlife so this was shot with a 1DIV and a 500mm (handheld)... Thank you, Jim
My 500mm moon shots were a bit less exposed you should see the craters. I understand you were hand holding, but I recall f8 and about 1/250 sec at ISO100. Seems like you could have used a longer shutter with these settings. It looks sharp, just over exposed.
Edit, I found an old one at 700mm, f8, 1/60 at ISO100.

Thanks Ben; I was playing hide & seek with the moon as the sun was starting to break the horizon... Long story short, I get excited and did not look at my setting...
