The weekly assignment is "Creepy"... I couldn't sleep last night so I started shooting... This is a 4 image blend... (1) Hall in full light... (2) Hall with light from room only (open door)... (3) Hall with no light (30 second bulb exposure)... (4) 580 flash set to full power, positioned in room and triggered with the ST-e2 (me in doorway)... When I blended in CS5 this is what I got... Your opinion is requested... Creepy... Not creepy /Just weird... Are you a moron Thanks for looking, Jim
Added a second image with a hand blend of the layers... Is this Better or worse... Remember::: we want it creepy... Thanks
I think it would be a lot creepier without the weird halos that are happening, the gray toned areas. I can see it looking very ghostly, and ghosts are creepy. Could you take one that is the hall without you in it...then one with you, and put just you on an opacity layer to give the ghost effect?

Thanks Travis... I really do not know where the grey came from... At 4 AM things get pretty weird.. I'll try just blending two as you suggest...
yeah, the second hand blended one is much creepier, I didn't even spot the knife in the first one. I agree, needs to be a bit darker, the light coming from the room is too bright too IMO.
I doubt this image is worth the effort, but here is a quick revision. Lots more could be done but you really need to work on the original instead of the downsized image.

Thanks Travis... I will darken slightly before posting in WA... Jim

Thank you Jim... There actually was not original as I shot over 50 images with the intent on blending... I was after a curtain look, visualized in my minds eye... I haven't got it yet but I will keep trying... Again, Thank you, Jim
