When did you get CS6 for that from Amazon...Was it the student discount?
Not the academic version; the full version. About a week ago Amazon sent out $400 CS6 discount offers to some, but not all, customers who previously purchased from them either LR or PS Elements 10. I didn't get a discount offer, unfortunately, and despite several conversations with Amazon customer service about the matter (which included on my part a substantial amount of begging/whining), Amazon would not offer me the discount. And they wouldn't even tell me why the discount offer was being sent out selectively.
I ended up ordering a copy from Videoguys.com who had a $249 promo which did not require a previous software purchase from them.
I got an email from Adorama last week stating if you bought Elements 10 or LR4 before 8/25, you would get an email for $400 off CS6 this week. I already have LR4 so I went with Elements 10.
Well, I had not received the email as of today so I called them to find out what was going on. One of the cust service reps helped me out and noted my account to give me $400 off of CS6 then transferred me straight over to the sales dept. As I was explaining the situation, the guy stopped me and said he already knew what I needed and already placed the order for me. He sent me an email with my order info and I was surprised to see that CS6 was $250, which was $20 cheaper than their normal price online. I was pretty impressed with their customer service today.
