This female was photographed in Denali National Park.
It was a sunny day, so I exposed my slide film for the off-white color of the sheep. That threw the distant shadowed mountain into darkness. I decided to keep that while processing.

To reduce the PITA factor, find a volume photo lab (around here Walmart does it). Ask them to process the film, mount the slides, and then scan the images on a CD. It's cheap.
If your computer does Cds, then you're fine.
