Outstanding light, tonality and pose. I also like how the OOF background behind his head is lighter tones, which gives good separation to his dark skin.
I like the glow on the shirt myself - it provides contrast to his skin. I think this portrait is fantastic work - I wouldn't change anything.

A wonderful portrait, Lazlo.
I'm guessing this was basically a candid shot, and that he turned his head and you took a quick shot.
But even if he posed for you, I still like the image .
