the real hero of the Battle of Britain. the Spits got the glory, but the Hurricanes bore the brunt of the Luftwaffe's assault...
these are from the Historic Flight Foundation, across the runway from Allen's museum.
F7F Tigercat... fastest piston-engined fighter of WWII.
F8F Bearcat... small, fast, but too late to see much action in WWII...
