Help! I am totally stumped on update to the 2.0 firmware. The downloaded file has a .FIR and nothing I try can open .FIR files. When I try method 2, and connect the camera to the computer directly, I am unable to see anything on the camera screen as shown in the PDF no matter what I do. Should I just forget the update and not risk screwing up my camera before a trip in 5 days?.
Sheesh Doc, we answered your question in your original thread a few lines down the page. If you can't do it yourself, you can always pay a service center to do it for you.
