Closer to wild than mild IMO Charlie.
Your processing seems to accentuate the spikiness of the flora.

The planning of this image was extremely complicated:
1. Screw with it until I liked the result.
2. Then stop.
Come to think of it, isn't that what Picasso did with all those plates he painted?

Joshua Tree gone bad?? I'm of the "screw around with it till you stop" school myself. Often the problem is knowing when to stop.
