Haven't shared some pictures in a long while. Usually it's of squirrels but this time it's of the always awesome Navy Blue Angels!
Annual Chicago Air and Water Show and each year it's either the USAF Thunderbirds or Navy Blue Angels, this year being the latter which coincides nicely with Navy Week going on where the Navy is in town to celebrate the bicentennial of the War of 1812.
When I first moved to Chicago, I had an office in my condo at Outer Drive East.
Heard a jet roar and looked out the window -- looked like the Thunderbird F16 was going to come right through it on its way to North Ave beach.
Haven't been in years. But your pix make me kind of nostalgic.

I always went as a kid then kind of stopped but have been going again the past 4 years.
Love it. Last year it was the Thunderbirds, this year the Blue Angels which coincided with Navy Week at Navy Pier where they had the USS Hurricane and other ships docked.
