Not sure I agree with Tom, or not. In a large size print, contrast may be just fine. I think at the size posted here, It is difficult to see the fine texture on the trunk of the tree. I like the silvery look of the processing though.
Thanks very much for your most welcome comments and suggestions about the image, it was a good time to be there.
I have made a large print (Epson 3800, Advanced Black & White Photo) of the image and the contrasts, textures, etc. are more apparent there then what is presented on a computer monitor.
