Southpaw, Nice shots. I was there too, and struggled with the lighting. By the Thunderbird passing shot, you were close to center line. My keeper rate was atrocious. I was using a 7D with a 70-200 F2.8L III and a 1.6 Teleconverter If you don't mind me asking, what were you shooting with, and what were your settings.
Some good stuff. Ironically enough, I was down in AC this past weekend as well (although it was for a bachelor party). We were able to catch a portion of the airshow though.
I was at AC as well... Stupid me, I went on "show day" instead of going on the practice day when conditions were much better... who knew? My keeper rate was poor as well... and I left to go back to PA even before the T-Birds. I shot with both my 500 and a 70-300L with Kenko TC.
