p.1 #1 · Help: Is this normal for 5D Mark II?

Just got a used 5D Mark II from a friend. I found every time I turn on the machine, the top LCD panel is reddening for a few seconds and then becomes normal. Not sure if this is due to some kind of initialization things or the defect of the top LCD panel. Anyone has idea on this issue?

Thanks a lot!

It's a monochrome display and can't show red. It has an illumination feature that times out a few seconds after being pressed. I seem to recall it being orange, not red.

That is very strange. Never seen anything like that on mine.

You're absolutely right...

Just realized it is actually the orange illumination. oh, what a poor former XXXD user without top lcd panel...
